Atmosphere
As I was heading home today I had my case with me, so I didn't fancy a walk across London in the morning lugging that around. It's a shame as a walk might have helped my mood.
After yesterday's meeting and just the general atmosphere in the office, I was not in the best of moods. My young padawan wasn't in either, so there was no laughter.
Had a few interesting phone calls.
Got an annoying piece of work out of the way.
Met up with one of my mates for a walk around the block and a chat. We both think the lunatics have taken over the asylum.
Train disasters on the way home. As soon as I got to Paddington I knew it wasn't going to run smoothly, the train before mine to Swansea was cancelled. So, you just knew mine was now going to be heaving, but then it came up that was delayed. We waited half an hour and then they said it had just arrived into the station. I made my way on, but there were only five carriages instead of ten, so I had to sit wherever I could. Then this bloke came up to me and said "you're sitting in my seat", so I told him there are five carriages mate so seat reservations are out the door, we're all in the same boat so sit down and leave me alone. He then said "well if someone comes to claim this seat, we'll be having a conversation", to which I replied crack on mate after the day I've had I can't be arsed with your flapping about a seat.
Eventually made it home just after 10pm. I went straight to bed.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A walk around the block with a mate
