Malvern Spring Flowers (WFW 25_01)
We took a walk up to British Camp this morning, partly to try out Gill's heart now she has spoken to a cardiologist and has some ideas of what to do should it go into super nutter maniac mode, (atrial tachycardia) and partly for the views which were quite wonderful with the blue sky, minimal wind and tee shirt temperatures. One the way back to the car we came across the blue flowers in my blip, and later on at the Picton Garden in Colwall the white one. Names to follow once I have better internet. The Picton Garden is attached to Old Court Nursery which looks like someone is refurbishing - see the extra for one of the blip opportunities it currently holds.
With it being the first day of the Easter holiday the camp site is filling up and the local cell-sites appear to be struggling for bandwidth - I'll update this blip and sort out the Mono Monday results once we are home.
Wood Anemonie (white)
Wood Violet (blue)
More than happy to be corrected!
The violets were alongside the path on the east facing side of the hills, the anemonie in the Picton garden in a shaded spot.
Thanks to our Flower Friday & Wildflower Week hosts.
