Mend & Make Do

Today we visited Chatsworth House and my blip shows the very patient work of a lady restoring a carpet in the library. Apparently they had been cleaned in February and were a little threadbare. The Duke and Duchess don't buy new :-)

It was a lovely day spent with Sam and Jean, started with lunch in the Carriage restaurant and then a gentle wander around the house and gardens.
