Apple Blossom Time

We were back to normal Friday routine today: Tess went to Keep Fat first thing then we met up at our friends’ house for coffee and cake. It’s been about 7 weeks since we last met up as they returned from visiting their son and his family in Los Angeles on the same day we flew out to Japan, so there was lots to catch up on.

This afternoon we unveiled the garden furniture from its winter shroud (if you’ll excuse the mixed metaphor). The apple tree is just coming into bloom; we could be back in Japan!
