Across the Saltmarsh

On our post swim walk we attempted to reach the end of the Levens Viaduct but it was high tide  and we had to turn back. Instead we enjoyed the sunshine,  the views across the salt marsh and no tourists. Followed by post walk tea stop at Holker Hall.  The map pin will show how close we got to the end

NB Windermere was ony 8.9 deg which was a disappointment, It had been 10.1 on Sunday afternoon. I had again turned up in a shorty wetsuit expecting the temperature to have risen. Thank goodness for the hot showers.
