Anti-tank blocks

We were up and out early this morning to watch six recently rediscovered WW2 anti-tank obstacles (aka tank traps) being moved to their new position in town. They will soon have an information board and be able to play their part in telling the story of the town’s history. It was thanks to the work of local historians and a property development company that they came to light during the construction of a housing development having been buried in the ground after the war.
