Hoverfly on forget me not

This morning was the first meeting of the season for the bowling club.  There was good turnout of members and great to catch up with everyone.  It was also good to play again.

I called at O's house for help with my new (to me) phone which he'd set up for me.  It had a couple of little glitches - including someone else's photos.  Whoever the previous owner was, had taken some  beautiful bird photos on exotic trips to Africa.  It's in very good condition though - thank you very much for the advice folks - I got an IPhone 14.  

When I got there I was at home instead of at school - she has caught chicken pox. She seems alright, just itchy.   I had it when I was a child as well as shingles so with the vaccination too I will hopefully be ok.

This afternoon I've been planting seeds and a couple of plants that I bought from the garden centre a couple of days ago and haven't had time to put in. It was lovely to see hoverflies and bees buzzing around the flowers.
