A bit grey (Day 3623)

A marginally later start than the last few days for a morning of smaller jobs around Stromness. The first of the day was to look at a blocked waste from a dishwasher. I checked all. The waste pipework and it is definitely clear, and I suspect the problem is more likely to be a failure of the pump in the dishwasher. It looks around 40 years old, so it has done very well. 
Next was a toilet cistern taking too long to fill. It took me less time to drain the cistern, change the fill valve and refill the cistern than it had been taking to fill previously. 
Next on the list was a look at a job replacing a shower. It looks like it is going to be an absolute pain to do the job, but such is life. 
I visited Mum before heading back home. Nice to get a blether and a coffee. 
Back home I got Sigyn out for a wander, letting my beautiful wife get on with other stuff. It was quite chilly in the strong wind. 
Back home I fiddled around doing paperwork and posted a few pictures of the boiler install on Facebook.
