Blossoming

Yesterday I had a call to arrange a bunch of appointments at the hospital to investigate my TIA incident on Saturday. I've been here all day and have had a Doppler scan on my neck, a CT scan of my brain (both normal. Yes, really!) 

Then there was a conversation with the brilliant Dr. Kong, who was so thorough, helpful and knowledgeable. He confirmed that he believes it was indeed a TIA, but has requested another type of scan just to confirm that it was not a mini stroke. 

He's prescribed medication to prevent further issues, and I'm just waiting for that to be ready for collection now. Then I can finally go home. 

There was a wait between the tests and seeing the doctor, so I bought a butty and a coffee from the little café, which I  ate whilst sitting outside in the sunshine. I noticed a lovely scent and traced it to this pretty plant.
