Truck crash

I heard sirens after work and stepped outside to see a sheriff's vehicle racing down the street. I looked up on the local gossip Facebook page and saw that a semi-trailer had crashed on the interstate nearby.

I shouldn't speculate but it was rainy, and drivers often exceed the speed limit of 40 mph (64 kmh). Plus, this curve in the interstate is right after a downhill section, so speed might have been a factor. But more information should come out as time passes.

I grabbed my camera and got in my car. It was a wild scene. There were lots of gawkers, and traffic had backed up because of people slowing their cars to look. Another photo is in extras.

The driver was not seriously hurt.
