Hard at work

Thursday 
A lovely sunny day. Our four new fence panels were fitted and the sleepers arrived for the raised beds.

Steven called round to collect James and Lily. James had found a sunny spot on top of Dennis's book and calculator. 

Spent the afternoon gardening. Split up some of the ox-eyed daisies and replanted in a different border. Also planted my hydrangea in the border as it was getting too big for its pot.

Heard from Calum in the evening that they had to have Beanie, their pet white rat, put to sleep as she had a pituitary tumour.
