Day two in the desert

Today we woke up for the sunrise, then had breakfast of bread with dulce de leche and coffee. Soon after, we left and went into the desert where we drove all day visiting lagoons and lakes. We saw lots of flamingoes and the last lake we got to was red! Here we wandered around and one girl lost her boot in the mud - by this point it was probably around -5 degrees, so she went back to the shelter while we tried to get it out!
