Training......

While the tide was out the horses were in training. A gentle amble up the beach, a slow turn around for the jockey's to have a quick natter and then off they went but not quite as quick as lightening. First time I've seen them this far up the beach.

This is the turnaround point with the seaside suburb of Sumner in Christchurch nestled on the Port Hills in the distance.

Out and about with mum today, a few groceries and lunch out - days treasured by both of us :)
