Good To See

……… it was lovely to see a pair of pretty little Goldfinches visiting the feeder - years ago we used to have flocks of 15 plus visiting the garden all year round but the last few years we’ve only seen three or four at the most, occasionally partaking of the sunflower hearts.
Hopefully this pair will spread the word and we will get lots more in the garden ;-)

I tried to get on with some housework chores and light spring cleaning but all morning I had a very keen ‘helper’. Bear followed me around like a shadow and was into everything - I think the most challenging task was dusting/cobweb removal with the long duster ……. my assistant thought it was a brilliant game to try to catch it and get under my feet.
I would have got twice as much done without his help but it wouldn’t have been as much fun ;-))
