Narcissus
Hubby had a scheduled appointment with our dermatologist this morning. She froze some of the typical spots he always has but didn’t see anything worrisome. Does it seem we are always at one doctor or another? Guess we are blessed to have a great medical system. While he was out, he picked up meds from the base and returned the new OtterBox cover for my phone. It’s the wrong size. I spent my time wisely: finally finished sorting and filing all my paperwork. Having individual folders will keep everything much more organized. I changed the bed linens and finished three loads of laundry. The birds needed seed. When I went out to fill the feeders, I checked what was blooming in the formal garden. These pretty little flowers won the blip contest. My next job was creating a spreadsheet of our April WV menu plan. My sister and BIL are up there now, both in bed with an unknown virus. Their company left this morning. My two daughters and DIL are in Florida until Sunday with other friends to celebrate Kristen’s 40th birthday. They had to go a week early due to spring break family conflicts. Photos indicate they are having a great time enjoying the fine white sand and gorgeous blue water of the Gulf. Otherwise, we are finished with chores today. I may need a nap first. Wishing you some restful moments. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. Fun fact: “In Floriology, the narcissus embodies the idea that you want your beloved to stay just the way they are.” - @worldofcscurtis
