Sparrow

A bit of a misty start to the day, which clear to white cloud. By coffee time, the sun has come out, and the clouds are racing across the sky. A sunny walk around the quiet park. The light produces large contrasts.

My partner goes off to meet people, organised by a friend, some of whom she was at school and / or university with. I am still at work though. After work I go for a wee walk around the park. Near Comiston Springs Well House, I spot a couple of sparrows in the bushes around the building. The male bird in the blip is the one that stays still the longest. I head back to the park to sit in the sunshine for 15 minutes before heading home.

I feed the cat, then head out to meet partner for a meal organised by her  friend. A very enjoyable evening. Nice to go out on a school night.
