Nosey Parker

I was trying to get a photo of the hens thoroughly enjoying a dust bath when this one came and put her nose up to the camera.
If hens could smile or purr they would do so. They love their dust hole. My garden now has a large hole that can take two if not three hens. You can see a hen at the back, almost swallowed in the 20 cm deep hole. In the middle of winter their corner had permanent frost for a few weeks, and I felt sorry for them and let them roam. They now expect it. To get them back I just call and take a slice of bread and they immediately follow me back to their enclosure.
