Blue skies again

After a rather chilly and cloudy start to the day, the clouds broke and warm sunshine arrived…hurrah.

M and I had rather a mixed day in Norwich. We took our car to the dealership for a windscreen replacement. We left it there at 9am as instructed and caught the park & ride to the city centre. The mobile glass repair man got delayed on another job and wasn’t able to get to the dealership at all today. So, apparently he will now contact us to arrange to visit our home to carry out the job instead.

Although the repair will be free of charge as we’ve only just bought the car and it has been agreed that the cracked windscreen must have already been damaged before we drove it home, it has cost us two new pairs of shoes and a very nice lunch! For some reason the salesman didn’t offer to reimburse us for those losses!
