Sputnik is ready to go home!

Sputnik was made by my mother-in-law. She was an ace at knitting and would make us all jumpers etc. I think Sputnik was made for our younger son and now I have removed all the old stuffing and replaced it with new fire retardant stuffing! As k worked at it I felt a connection with her admiring her work.

Youngest is with us and we went into town. Had pasties and a sausage roll for missy at Greggs then on to the library to collect a book they were holding for me. She learnt that you can get a notebook plus bits and bobs for £16 at Claire’s but in a pound shop you can get a notebook hardback and some pencils for two pounds.
