Tay reed beds
The reed beds along the north bank of the Tay between Perth and Dundee.
We were hoping for a Bearded Tit or two. But nothing more than Chiffchaffs, Wrens and the Teal and Shelduck on the mud broke the gentle shushing of the reeds in the breeze.
After dozens of trips to reserves where they are supposed to be, I still think they are nothing more than a myth.
