What are you doing?

Today two mason bees were flying around and under our table on our balcony. They were not happy that we sat there, too and they seemed to check our noses and ears, if that were good holes for their eggs.
(They weren't. They didnt keep still ;-))   )
I was curious what they were doing under our table.
They had found holes, which kept still ;-D
