Wild Flowers

I had in mind going to the Co-op but I got a message to say a parcel was waiting for me at The Convenience Store so I went there instead.  I walked there and back along the back lane through the allotments as its a bit of a short cut.  After collecting my parcel I  bumped into a couple who used to go to my slimming group at St Marys.  They still go to a group in Dunston.  We had a nice catch up.  Then I walked along to Tesco and Herons ... and then home.

When I got near to my back garden I saw the three men who have the allotment nearest to my house.  They were cutting back the high hedges around their allotment.  We had a chat about how they were doing.  They only got the allotment last year and it was in a bad state but they have put in a lot of hard work and its looking much better now.  They have in mind growing all sorts of vegetables to start off with.

The weather today has been dull and chilly.  So no Light/Shadow for the Wide Wednesday challenge.  So Ive gone with The WildFlowerWeek2025 challenge.  These are 3 of the flowers I saw in the back lane.  Blackthorn blossom, Periwinkle and Honesty.  Thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting.
