Chilly beach day

It was a shock to the system this morning to see cloudy skies after so much sunshine! We eventually saw blue skies late this afternoon, when we were safely back home!

So a visit from my brother and his family today meant only one thing and that was a trip to Southend as doggo loves the beach! Although he wasn't as keen on the water today as it was so cold!  We also had a lovely time in our favourite cafe along the front, where he met a 7month old cocker spaniel called Lily and they were totally in love with one another which was very cute to see!

he also had good fun chasing cats from our garden when they dared to venture in, and I had to dig up some plants for my sister in law to take home with her to fill out their garden!
