Late lunch

Woke at 5.20, pointless trying to sleep, so early breakfast while completing the wordseatch, word fit, sudoku, & crossword in Mum's i newspaper supplement. Good weather for laundering winter woolies, so did mine.
Drove out to BT to ask ARG, a garage owner friend, to take a look at my car. I was there before he arrived. Did'nt have to wait long. He arrived at 7.45. Nothing to worry about, he'll check it out any time early next week.
Back to CK, Mum was up but her clothes needed a quick reconfigure... She was happy to have an early breakfast. Walked Indie, then back to Chudleigh to collect hubby. He has a hospital appointment in Paignton at 10.45. I parked at the hospital, left hubby for his apt then walked into Paignton, heading for the seafront. I bought a coffee & slice of carrot cake, & sat enjoying the sunshine while people watching.. No idea how long hubby is going to be. The info said to allow 4hrs.. I walked back into town, popped into the YMCA charity shop & there just inside the doorway was a 3 wheeled walker. I spoke to one of the volunteers, explained that hubby was at the hospital so could I reserve it. I took their phone number as J is very reluctant to use a walking aid other than his stick. I took a pic...... Hubby now has a walker. It's still in the back of the car but not for long.
Drove hubby up to Chudleigh, dropped him at the pub then back to CK to make Mum's lunch.
Picked J up at 3.15, then home. Late lunch... Avo on toast with a couple of twists, a drizzle & squeeze fir me, cheese & crackers for J.
Think it will be an early night for me.
