Cool Pool Kids

Absolutely wonderful to have family with us first time ever at the Biennial. The kids were almost straight into the pool - hot sun, but cold wind, and they got pretty cold, but a fun start for them.

They also loved the buffet dinner (see all of us in extra), especially the waffles with squirty cream, dulce de leche, nutella, and who knows what other healthy toppings...

All the team from our church were up around 3am, so pretty tired. I'm babysitting sleeping kids, while the musicians are doing a sound check, ready for the morning, and the crèche folk are setting up the space they've been given.

Gratefuls:
- that the leadership meetings are over and all went pretty smoothly (though bit too relentlessly for my enjoyment)
- everyone arriving safely so far; some pretty long journeys
- all the hugging and excitement at seeing each other again, folk here, literally, from all over the world
