De-stressing

An office worker de-stressing in St John's Garden while we were watering in the evening sunshine.

We met some long-standing American friends for lunch today.  They are in their 80s but are 5 weeks into a 2 month trip around the world, passing through London on their way from New Zealand and Australia to Portugal and Spain - visiting friends at every stop.

Yesterday evening we went to a private view and grand dinner for the opening of the Cartier exhibition at the V&A.  You needed sunglasses to look at the dazzling diamonds!  The black tie dinner was in the Raphael Gallery and the table decorations (extra) were based on Cartier's tutti frutti designs.
