Violets

Most of my blips this week are going to be of the wild flowers and blossom that the beautiful warm and sunny weather has helped to bring out over the last few days. Today it’s violets, although most are single flowers in the woodland around us. This wee group was at the edge of our garden, close to the Hazel woods. I’m sure many more will bloom over the next week or so.
I spent a couple of hours during the afternoon in the polytunnel, tidying up and replanting strawberry runners and land cress seedlings.
