Hergest Croft

This morning we visited the Hergest Croft Gardens near Kington in north Herefordshire. They hold the national collections of maples and birches. At the moment the 70 acres are awash with spring flowers, lots of majestic magnolias and camelias. I couldn't resist another blossom photo. My blip today is of the beautiful Lindera praetermissa, a tree more usually found in the Himalayas.
