All members of the Swiss government since 1848

We had our workshop in the Bundesrats-Stübli (room of the federal council) where all the pictures of the 7-member Swiss government since 1848 (foundation of the federal state in its present form) were displayed. To be precise: the pictures of the 4 newest members are still missing.

Nevertheless: surprisingly few people for such a long time. The average term of office is 10 years, with the record holder in the 19th century at 32 years!
