Heading home

Last day of the visit today. We were up early to get the tube back to King Cross ready for the train to Yorkshire. There's been quite a lot of changes to Kings Cross and St Pancras wince I was a regular to the trade shows around ten years ago.  The best change of which is that you no longer have to pay for the loos in kings cross! 

I found it strange being on the tube and passing the remains of Grenfell tower - I never realised quite how close it was to the train line and other houses, it must have been terrifying to see when the fire happened and it really must be a constant reminder for the communities.  I really hope that something comes of the prosecutions and that the families get justice.

The day was mainly travelling, a beief stop with mum and dad to have a cuppa ans swap the train for the car and an uneventful drive back to Scotland.  Two needy cats at home and two loads of washing done, time for bed!
