Happy New Home!

A leisurely morning after a hectic weekend.  

D played golf at Leven then in the afternoon Christine and Alan headed ot Dundee to meet up withAlan's pal Andrew and his mum before heading back here.

This is Andrew's first visit this year (we've had two dates in the calendar for visits that had to be postponed for one reason or another) so he arrived wishing us Happy New Year.

He and Alan had an hour in the pool with Christine and Penny and had a fab time.  The music and laughter was very loud. 

Once they were out the pool (D acts as life guard :-) D and I headed to meet our niece Jennifer in her new flat.  She got the keys on Friday.  This is her first flat and she is so excited.  She's definitely landed on her feet because it is immaculate.  Absolutely spotless and the kitchen and bathroom look brand new.  Of course she wants to make it her own so she had lots of paint testers dotted on the walls and final choices have been made.  We approved :-)

Took the chunky throw that I made as part of her housewarming gift and she loves it.  Phew.

Her flat is about two minutes from here we lived before moving here so she's familiar with the area so feels right at home.  We got a chinese takeaway for dinner from what used to be our local chinese.  D went to collect it and said it was like going back in time.

Her sofa is arriving in 4-5 weeks so she's hoping to have moved in by the end of May.  I am so excited for her.
