Dover in sunshine
We took J and her entourage to Dover for an audiology appointment, and then for a stroll along the seafront and around the marina. It was fairly quiet, which suits us, with brilliant blue sky and water, and we enjoyed the boats, views of the iconic white cliffs and castle, and a good number of passing dogs. J always likes to interact with dogs and their owners when we go for walks, and this was our first walk outside the village since she came home five weeks ago. We are getting braver, and the nurses are very organised about assembling and transporting all the equipment we need to take with us. J was glad to be out, but exhausted when we returned home after the intense concentration with which she completed the audiogram, together with the car journey and the walk. Her energy and stamina are clearly still very limited.
I've just blipped yesterday's morning view too.
