An epic bus ride to the depths of suburbia
Mrs. Ottawacker decided it was time to take Ottawacker Jr. on an epic bus ride, so off they went on the highways and byways of the city, while I stayed at home to watch the Fulham vs. Liverpool match. It didn’t take me long to wish I had gone on an epic bus ride with them. The first half was abject (from a Liverpool perspective) and I have no idea what is going on. Salah seems to have fallen off a cliff – not just metaphorically, actually, he might literally have fallen off a cliff, as he seems to have lost all of his pace and trickery, and this has been going on for a good six weeks now… Much improved second half – but not enough to undo the once again self-inflicted damage. Hmm…
Rest of the day was spent doing various administrative chores. I left a rather cloying, sickly-sweet message for my rheumatologist’s Cerberus, not sure if it will make it through to the Great Inept One, but fingers crossed. I have an Arthritis Society appointment tomorrow, so shall raise various questions today. Spent part of the day looking for things that Colin might have a look at. Failed.
