Downtown.

My Editor just registered online for Medicare. A few days ago, a letter showed up from the government saying that they wanted original documentation of citizenship before they could proceed.  Put an original document in the mail??  NFW!!  She called yesterday.  There was a 90 minute wait to speak to a person.  They called back, as promised.  She made an appointment downtown at the Federal office building.  We got a parking space a few blocks away.  She signed in electronically, and was called to a window to speak with a representative TO THE MINUTE of her appointment time.  The lady was polite and efficient. We were in and out in fifteen minutes. 
On the way back to the car, I saw this juxtaposition of new and old which begged to be Blipped.  Where would we be without cell phone cameras?
