Glorious day

Early walk was just up the lane as we planned to get the train and walk back to site, just over 6 miles but bit rough and very warm. We stopped for lunch on a bench at St. Fillan’s Priory, well the remains of. Lovely woods covered in moss.
As soon as we got back Hetty was straight under the bush and asleep in minutes.
Text to say our ferry tomorrow has been cancelled and spent about twenty minutes talking to a very nice man who was trying to get us on another one, and failed. He suggested I called the port and asked to be put on standby so I did when we got back to site, but she said priority is given to cars and we may be waiting all day and not get on. A refund was issued and she suggested we went a different route or take a late booking on Thursday. So plans changed and we are taking two short ferries both just turn up and wait, so might get a lot of reading done tomorrow.
Hetty got a bit excited when sat looking out of the camper door and when I looked out there was a red squirrel running up one of the trees next to the camper.
