Tablet weaving

As I appear to have fallen down the rabbit hole of reenactment, Viking era skills are becoming useful. Whilst wielding swords is something I’m very familiar with (and very unlikely that I’ll be required to use ) making shoes and weaving is new territory for me.

I’m enjoying the crazy puzzle that is tablet weaving though and I’m quite delighted to have made a piece long enough to use as a belt… albeit it one with odd lumps and bumps and an pattern that’s not quite as it should be.
