Hanging on

The last of the Beech leaves and signs of the new buds. It will be a while before there are any green beech leaves.

I had my physiotherapy assessment in Penrith. A nice guy and very realistic. The problem is that I no longer have the pain that I had but he thinks it was some kind of nerve issue,a bit like sciatica, caused by the arthritis in the hip. He did some tests and found out where the stiffness is. So I have to be a bit more active, use my exercise bike more and he has given me some exercises. As I am trying to avoid surgery, that will do. I can call back if I have any further problems. Funny that, whilst I was at the hospital, Gordon was at the Gym in Penrith doing the kind of stuff I ought to be doing, but cannot even bear the thought of!

On the way back we called in at Orton Chocolate Shop to buy some Easter chocolates . . . and ice cream. Great to have ice cream weather again.
