Fishing

Our friends Steve & Julia from the Cotswolds arrived at our house late morning, and after a cuppa we set off on a cycle ride from our house.

The route from Goodrich was along the River Wye through Symonds Yat into Monmouth (South Wales, UK) where we enjoyed a cuppa in the sun. As we passed Monmouth Rowing Club a youngster was enjoying casting a fishing net into the river. The lovely reflections of the Park Homes and trees opposite add to the lovely sunny scene.

As Cardiff City didn't win on Saturday, tonight has become yet another need to win match against Preston. Hopefully top of the league Burnley will beat Derby, the team above us,  so we can get out of the relegation zone. I'll be glued to the tv tonight watching the drama unfold.
