Another Day

Dry, as in not wet

And humour, naturally.

JJ went off to golf at the crack of dawn.  I got up at 7.45 a.m. and took my "stand up straight for half an hour" tablet.  All to do with osteoporosis and only once a week.

Breakfast partaken I headed out for a walk around the playing fields and up through the wood.  The bluebells are just starting to make an impact along with the primroses and wood anemones.

I always check my surroundings as I walk and was squatting down on my haunches taking a bluebell picture when a brown and white collie was suddenly at my side lying down and asking me to throw its ball.  Its owner was just coming along the path with his other collie and apologised if he'd spoilt a picture.  Fortunately I know them slightly and knew the dogs were friendly but it was a bit of a shock.

Lots of photographs taken of bluebells and newly emerging leaves, a few birds spotted but not a butterfly in sight.

Not quite sure about today's topic of Dry but thought this might be ok.  When I took it on the roadside, a young lady stopped in her car to see if I was ok.  I think she was worried I was in a state of collapse and was relieved to see my camera.

Camera club tonight and last competition of the season.  Sadly I’m not going to win, come second or third.  Sigh!
