Exlivet

Incredibly dry…

underfoot, but plenty of birdlife making the most of the lovely weather! There were Lapwings, Curlew, Oystercatchers and Skylarks, all singing beautifully on the nesting grounds. Stonechats and Pipits were in the heather and scrubby vegetation. Best of all was the first Wheatear of the season, standing on a rock. As I returned, a pair of Kestrels mated in the top of the tree.
