Avondale at Hyde

I was approaching the corner and could see a guy standing there looking at this house, phone in hand taking video.  I didn't really register what was going on until I got right next to him, he said: Be careful...  I paused, I listened, a great humming sound coming from across the street, there they were, a big swarm of bees.  

This isn't the greatest image but you can see a large swarm, upper right and what looks to be a concentration of them under the upper eaves of the roof and the air filled with bees (extra in b&w zoomed in reveals things a bit better).  

We both stood there marveling.  Then I realized I was becoming late for an appointment nearby.  I thanked the guy again then rerouted myself to well clear of them.  Go well, bees, go well.

The time of year for blooms and swarms, it seems.

Dakota was full of pep at the PT clinic.
