Pondlife

Our pond may be small but we see a good selection of wildlife in it.  A few weeks ago we saw toads mating and leaving their trade mark strings of eggs which have now become tadpoles.  We have also seen Common Frogs, as above, however we have never seen any frogspawn.  Oddly, one of our neighbours has a pond covered in frogspawn but they don't see any toads.  There are Common Newts in both the ponds.
