A mono natural world

Today's theme for Mono Monday is 'the natural world' so I have returned to the rapidly fading Pasque flowers in our garden.  Pictured is one of said flowers given an antique treatment in Silver Efex Pro.

This afternoon Violet was picked up by Mr MC for the afternoon and a sleepover.  Today is the first day of her Easter holiday from school and next term is her last at primary school.  Gulp!!
