Fringe

We headed over to Edinburgh today to meet with friends and have a wander to soak in a bit of the fringe atmosphere. I’m using GadgetKid’s trick of a collage as I couldn’t pick just one picture for today.

The top picture is of the crowd of people on the Royal Mile catching the free fringe street performers. We even managed to get from one end to the other without getting landed with a single flyer, despite the promoters best efforts!

The bottom left picture is our view from The 4th Floor at Harvey Nichols where we had lunch. Bit of a hidden gem actually. 3 of us had the red mullet which was just delicious. We will definitely be going back here again.

The bottom right picture is one of the street performers. The sign in front of her read “£ = smiles”, if you dropped in a few coins in her hat she would blow you a kiss. I did also have a picture of a man swallowing a sword but this woman just had so much character about her.

A really really good day. Hopefully we will see our friends again soon!
