While on my runs

The crane was ready and waiting

But, once again the sun needed no help from the crane to show above the horizon before I had reached the Unit.

It was a gentle return to work after having had four days away. The best part was a Care Planning Meeting involving two of the community-based teams. This meeting (held in the Whare, and basically conducted by a newly appointed young Kai Atawhai. He just does his job of promoting culturally appropriate care for Maori patients. The young Maori man and his mother were able to speak freely, to ask questions, to provide answers, and collaborate in an agreed treatment plan. A plan any of the clinicians involved could have made, and therefore will support it.
