Moon and Leaves

A day of varying activities. After breakfast I headed to the garage for a software update on my car. To say they were quick was an understatement, I didn't even have time to finish the offered coffee before they gave me the keys back. 

It allowed me to get home in time to walk to the swimming pool for a late morning swim. It's hard to believe that I haven't been in the pool for a month because of holidays and illness. I took it easy but still remembered how to swing the arms over and completed my mile in a reasonable time.

An afternoon going through various domestic matters, it was lovely to be able to do it sitting in the sun in the garden. I got out the infrared camera as the leaves have started to burst out and provide a strong contrast to the blue sky. This shot is a little bit of a cheat as it would not have been possible to get both the branches and the moon in focus in one shot. This was blended together in photoshop.
