Mono Monday - ‘The Natural World’
Lots of furniture shifting and emptying out of the wardrobe in the morning in preparation for it to be collected as a charity donation. Mission accomplished. The bedroom now looks even more like a warehouse - it really is in a terrible mess!
After lunch I walked up to the hairdresser’s for a cut and finish. I’m making the most of Liz, because she and her husband Lee are selling up and going round the world soon. Lee is a professional painter and decorator, and I’m hoping he might be able to squeeze in painting my bedroom before they leave.
The afternoon was spent doing domestic jobs, taking the bed linen in off the washing line, laundering towels, etc etc - I’m trying to keep up a decent standard amidst all the chaos!
Tiptree book club in the evening. Only four of us could make it, but we still had a good discussion and a general catch-up. Home to a relatively early night ready for the wardrobe collection first thing in the morning.
Many thanks to StevenG for hosting this week’s Mono Monday challenge, with the theme of ‘The Natural World’.
