Sunshine day

Through the Botanics to meet R .. admired the flowering rhododendrons and this pear tree.

We walked around Inverleith pond to admire the swans (an active nest, hopes for cygnets this year after two years without a nest) and some brave coots making a very public nest at the East end of the main pond with no cover at all. Enjoyed sitting in the sundial garden with tea and talking. 

Walked some of the same round with my husband later on, when it was warmer; day started at 7C in the shade.
