Snowmaggedon’s off

Despite the calls for Snowmageddon, Part 12, we got off lightly overnight, which was a mixed blessing because I then had to drive Mrs. Ottawacker in so she could attend her leadership course. I am beginning to be convinced that the best part of being a leader is being able to tell people what to do without them being told what to do.

Got back to turf Ottawacker Jr. off his computer and force him out the door to school. Then settled down to some translation work, interspersed with numerous other chores. Translation is going quite well – after a slow, slow start during which my brain refused to cooperate. After a good night’s sleep (last night), it seems to have improved somewhat. Nonetheless, the interruptions keep on coming.

Dinner was a stir-fry, after which, Ottawacker Jr. and I went out to pick up Mrs. Ottawacker from the pub. Yes, you saw it here first. She’d had a “networking session” at the end of the day’s leadership course. As an avowed teetotaller, she wasn’t looking forward to it. I think she did, however, quite like it.
