Fencing

The Farmer has put fencing up round all the neighbouring arable fields that used to be edged by banks and nothing else.   It’s a shame of course but he hasnt’ filled in the posts and so far we have no idea what the plan is.  Everything is so dry, it has hardly rained all March and there doesn’t seem to be much sowing going on.   I did walk through the asparagus fields yesterday and a few spears are starting to show. 

Woody and I walked first thing. It was cold and sunny and we couldn’t go far as I had a 9am call.  I spent the morning on zooms, had a quick break to do some reading and then had a call on a series outline that’s a bit of a mess.  

Dropped into town to post some Vinted stuff and pick up some things for dinner.  

Wrote up my notes and then decided to go for a longer walk in the beautiful evening light.   It was cool and clear and golden-blue.  See picture.  

. Then cooked salmon to go with a salad.  

 Didn’t feel like any gloom or doom this evening so watched another very silly but very recognisable episode of Apple’s The Studio with Seth Rogen. I shouldn’t laugh but I did.

The daft dog is outside barking at owls.
